CHESS AMPED provides chess lessons and practice by email and on this website.

What we collect and why

We store your name, email address, survey answers, lesson choices, delivery schedule, timezone, progress, and saved games to personalize lessons, send emails, and resume practice across devices. We also keep invitation and delivery records. An invitation may include your email address before you enroll. We do not access your Gmail inbox or other emails.

Services and cookies

Vercel hosts the website, Supabase stores data, Mailgun delivers emails, and a Render-hosted Maia/Stockfish service processes game positions and playing strength. These providers process information needed to run the service and may keep operational logs. We do not sell personal information or use advertising trackers; Mailgun tracking is disabled. Developer sign-in uses an essential security cookie. Opening a Lichess analysis link shares the game's moves with Lichess.

Pause or unsubscribe

Open Edit Lesson Plan from a recent lesson to change your schedule, pause until a date, or pause indefinitely. To stop lesson emails, use the Unsubscribe link in an email and confirm. Pausing or unsubscribing keeps your saved progress. You can resume through Edit Lesson Plan. For help, email help@chessamped.com.

Keeping and deleting data

We retain information to provide the service and maintain security and delivery records. Email help@chessamped.com to request access, correction, or deletion. We may verify that the request is yours; limited records or backups may remain where needed for security, legal obligations, or normal backup retention. Policy changes will appear here.
